COMMUNITY

Much of Rowayton’s warmth and vibrancy comes from the dedication of its volunteers and the organizations they support. Meg has been deeply involved in the community since 2012, consistently seeking ways to enhance the town while preserving its historic charm. Her volunteer leadership began with the Rowayton Parents Exchange, where she served as President for two years and successfully raised more than $20,000 toward the renovation and improvement of the Bayley Beach Playground. She later joined the parent board of The United Church Nursery School, serving as Co-President for two years and playing an active role in technology upgrades and fundraising for capital projects. Meg also served as PTA President at Rowayton Elementary School for three years, revitalizing programs, events, and overall school spirit. If you have questions about the local schools, she’s widely known as the go-to resource. In addition, Meg spent four years on the Rowayton Civic Association board, including service on the executive committee as Communications Manager, helping oversee many of the town’s cherished annual events and community initiatives.
